Fall Conference 2013 Opportunities

Communication & Leadership recipient Drum Café will put on a unique program where drumming is used to break down barriers, inspire people, and bring them together. There will be a limited number of souvenir drums for you to purchase at the conference. You’ll be able to relive the thrill, unleash that tribal warrior (or princess) inside you, and experience, ‘The Rhythm of Teamwork’ at any time.

Here’s a great opportunity for you! We need opportunity drawing gifts for the District Conference. Please ensure that the value of all donated prizes falls into the $20-$25 price range. We always ask the Divisions to donate two opportunity drawing gifts, but times are lean. Founder’s District members, you are our only hope! If you have something bigger that you would like to donate, we will be having a silent auction. We need to know what the item is and its suggested retail value. Vendors who donate items or services will receive a ‘receipt of charitable contribution letter’ that can be submitted with their income tax returns. Contact District Opportunity Drawing Chair, Bill Harmon (Bill.Harmon@Parsons.com). If necessary, we can make arrangements to pick up the donation from you.

Need some low-cost publicity for your club? We are offering business-card-sized advertisements in the Fall Conference Program for $15. Your card should have the Club Name and Club Number, the day, time, and location of your meetings, and a contact person’s name, email address, and/or phone number. These advertisements will be placed throughout the Fall Conference program. We prefer higher quality, black and white graphic layouts only. Please submit your ad to Diane Beall (b22ear@socal.rr.com) by Friday, October 25. Payments can be submitted by mail to: Founder’s District, P.O.
