Speech contests are a Toastmasters tradition. Each year, thousands of Toastmasters compete in the Humorous, Evaluation, Tall Tales, Table Topics®, and International speech contests. Competition begins with club contests, and winners continue competing through the Area, Division, and District levels. Winners of the District level International Speech Contest proceed to the region quarterfinal level. Following region quarterfinals, winners advance to the semifinals for a chance to take part in the World Championship of Public Speaking®. Each year, more than 30,000 Toastmasters compete in one or more contests.
Founder’s District’s 2025-2026 contests will feature three exciting contests: International Speech, Humorous Speech and the Online Speech Contest.
• In-Person Contests:
The International Speech Contest and Humorous Speech Contest will be conducted in person starting at the Area level and continuing through Division and District levels.
• Online Contest:
The Online Speech Contest will be held exclusively online, providing a unique platform for participants to showcase their skills in a virtual setting.
Each contest is conducted separately on designated dates at the Area, Division, and District levels. All contests will follow the guidelines outlined in the Toastmasters International Speech Contest Rulebook 2025-2026 to ensure fairness and consistency.
