
Conflict Resolution Workshop – Dr. Charlotte Naugle, DTM, PDD
Presenter Bio:
Charlotte Naugle has been a Toastmaster since 2004 and belongs to two clubs and she has served in all club officer positions. She has chaired Toastmasters Leadership Institute multiple times. She received her Distinguished Toastmaster Award in July 2014 and her Qualified Speaker Award in November 2015.
Charlotte has been an educator: teacher, principal, and university professor both here and abroad. She received her Ph, D in Conflict Management. She has lived in four countries abroad with her military husband and family. She just returned recently from living eight years in Cairo, Egypt. Charlotte has served in different capacities with volunteer organizations: Girl Scouts, American Cancer Society, and MFI Recovery and Inland Valley Recovery Services in the Inland Empire.
Her hobbies include playing the piano, reading, writing, and speaking. She enjoys sailing, diving, swimming, and traveling.

Session Outline:
Conflict is a part of life. People will always have differences. It is how we handle those differences that can lead to either a positive or negative result. This session is designed to help members understand what is happening in the conflict, why it has occurred, and what to do about it. In addition, we will share the resolution process, how to apply it, and how to apply assertive language to help de-escalate a conflict.
