Club Officer Training Opportunities Available August 2026 – Online

Invest in Your Leadership Success

Whether you are a first-time club officer or an experienced leader, Club Officer Training (COT) provides the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to lead a successful Toastmasters club.

Founder’s District is pleased to offer multiple Club Officer Training opportunities throughout August 2026, making it easier than ever for Club Officers to complete their training requirements and prepare for a successful term.

Why Club Officer Training Matters

Effective club leadership is the foundation of a thriving Toastmasters Club. Club Officer Training (COT) helps officers:

  • Understand the responsibilities of their role
  • Learn best practices for club operations
  • Develop leadership and communication skills
  • Discover resources available through Toastmasters International and Founder’s District
  • Support members in achieving their goals
  • Contribute to club success and Distinguished Club Program (DCP) achievements

Training also provides an opportunity to connect with fellow Club Officers and share ideas, challenges, and successes.

Requirements for Club Officer Training Credit

To receive Club Officer Training (COT) credit, officers must complete all three required training components:

✅ General Session Part 1 (1 hour)

✅ Officer Role Training (1 hour)

✅ General Session Part 2 (1 hour)

All training components must be attended in full. Partial attendance cannot be credited.

Important Attendance Policy

  • Participants must attend the entire session to receive credit.
  • Partial attendance will not be counted.
  • Attendees arriving more than 15 minutes after a session begins will not receive credit.

Multiple Training Options Available

To accommodate a variety of schedules, Founders District is offering:

  • General Sessions Only (2 hours)
  • Officer Role Training Sessions (1 hour each)
  • Complete All Requirements in One Day Sessions (3 hours)

Club Officers can select the training option that best fits their schedules while ensuring they complete all required components.

Serving in More Than One Officer Role?

If a Club Officer holds more than one office, training must be completed for each role separately.

One training session cannot be used to receive credit for multiple officer roles. Officers must attend the training specific to each role they hold.
