Mission Statement

To publicize meetings, conferences, and special events that provide beneficial opportunities to Toastmasters members and multiple leadership levels through environmentally safe methods.


Objectives


To inform, instruct, entertain, and motivate members to reach their personal and professional goals thought electronic mail communications, which have user friendly subscription controls from the sender and recipient levels.


Responsibilities & Lists

DELP, District Chair, Area Governor List– to send information to district leaders about area and division contests, community relations (requests for judges, etc.), and other administrivia.

Club officer and All Member List– to be used with discretion primarily to announce the district conference and LACE training sessions. The district governor can use these lists to send important district and TI WHQ information they believe important to clubs.

Treasurer List– this is for the district treasurer to use to send important information from TI (i.e., Annual IRS 990-N instructions and reminder to file by May 15) to the club treasurers.

New contact manager via Mail Chimp:

1. Easy for District “staff” to use and maintain.

2. Users able to control their subscriptions and subscribe or unsubscribe.

3. Ability to manage subscriptions or not – for example, “District News” to be open to anyone, but “DELP” be restricted.

4. More engaging emails to include colors, pictures, graphics, html, etc. within the body of the email.

5. Monitor/moderate postings for appropriateness.

6. Confirm readership.

7. Survey tool.
