What's Happening In Division E

Here is a quick summary of status:

• Three clubs went of business.
• Two new club start-ups.
• One major realignment.
• Picked up 10 clubs from three other divisions.
• Sent eight clubs to Division H.
• The two new clubs produced to two International Speech Contest Champions.
• Brian Tom took 2nd place in the Founders District contest.
• Carl Walsh took 2nd place in the Division E contest.

A presentation was made at the Care for Caregivers seminar by toastmasters from Permanente Toastmasters Club #7294 to the doctors of Kaiser Permanente. The seminar was live at the Bellflower facility but videocast to doctors all over Southern California. The presenters were Dr. Kent Jones, DTM, Dr. Andy Carr, ATM and Dr. Vimal Kumar ATM. At least 2 new members have joined as a result of the presentation.

Division E hosted the Fifth Annual Spanish Fiesta Showcase on May 7th at the Los Nietos Library & Community Center. It was a huge success.
