Volunteer at the Orange County Fair
Flower Power, Year of the Garden is almost here!
Founder’s District fifth year exhibiting at the Orange County Fair is around the corner. The Fair will be open Friday, July 7 th thru Sunday, July 30 th closed Mondays. We need you, Toastmasters interested in volunteering, to work in the booth while the Fair is open. Volunteering to work in the booth can expand both the benefits of being a Toastmaster as well as extending those benefits to potential Toastmasters. Remember, by volunteering at least 3 hours of your time, you can spend the rest of your day at the Fair for FREE, and not pay for parking either!. To volunteer and have your Toastmaster Flower Power benefits blooming at the fair, contact Peg Klinck at pegsje@aol.com with the following info: Desired day(s) of Week: Your name, contact email, phone and address, in case we have to mail your Fair and parking tickets. Tuesday thru Friday shifts are:Noon to 3 pm; 3 to 6 pm; 6 to 9 pm; and 8 to 11 pm Saturday and Sunday shifts are:10 am to 1 pm; 1 to 4 pm; 4 to 7:30 pm; and 7:30 to 11:00 pm Thank you for volunteering for the 2006 Founder’s District Exhibit at the Orange County Fair! The deadline for submitting fliers for distribution at the Orange County Fair has passed. Due to the contract requirements no additional fliers may be accepted.
