Getting Great Publicity
The Art of Working with the Press
Great publicity is the key
element in building a
business or a Toastmasters
club. Lee Pound, a long-
time newspaper editor,
writing coach, and CFO, will reveal how
to make editors your allies in the quest for publicity.
Judges Training
Every Contestant deserves a
panel of well-trained judges and our district asks that judges attend training every two years. This session will train you to be an effective judge, or as a contestant - learn the criteria by which you'll be judged. Train now and gain the opportunity to
judge Fall Speech Contests.
Prep-Check
Nailing Your Presentation
Why wait until your speech evaluation to find
out that you forgot something? Come learn
about a speech presentation checklist to nail
the presentation have-to’s and ensure audience
involvement, all while cutting your preparation
time in half. You will display extra confidence
knowing that you have a well-prepared
presentation.

The Power of PowerPoint

irritating) PowerPoint presentation!”
One of the greatest tools for helping our
audiences to “get” the presentation is
also the most abused. Learn how to take your
presentation and outshine every other presenter
that steps up that day!
