During the one-year term, the District Educational Resource Chair ensures the necessary educational materials are available for sale at the six regularly scheduled District conferences and training workshops.

• Four District Training events - known in the Founder's District as Leadership And Communication Education or LACE (two dates in January and two dates in June).
• Two District Conferences - Spring and Fall (typically April and November).

All items must be priced (including tax) and labeled in order to speed up the sale process during the event breaks. At the end of each event, all sales must be recorded and additional inventory ordered in preparations for the next event.

Successful Educational Chairpeople have become familiar with the books and programs Toastmasters offers in order to make educated suggestions to members as to which materials will help them advance in their chosen communication and leadership path.
