Questions and Answers

Question: In the Leadership Track: While working for a CL Award – one of the requirements is that I conduct any two programs from The Successful Club Series and/or The Leadership Excellence Series. In order to get credit for my CL must I conduct those series while I am serving as a Club Officer or may I conduct them before or after I serve my term as a Club Officer?

Answer: You can conduct them anytime: Before, During, or After you serve as a Club Officer and they will count toward your requirements for the CL Award.

Question: After earning my first DTM, and while working to earn my second DTM, as I work to complete the requirements in the Communication Track, may I go directly to the Advanced Toastmaster Bronze Award without earning another CTM Award?

Answer: Yes, once you have earned a CTM you do not have to repeat that award again when you want to earn subsequent Advanced Toastmaster Awards in the Communication Track.

Question: Prior to finishing my Advanced Leader Award, may I earn another CTM and have it count for both me and my Club, i.e., can the earning of this second CTM (in a different year than when I earned my first CTM) count toward the four CTMs that my Club needs in their Distinguished Club Program effort?

Answer: Yes, provided you do not submit that Award for DCP credit more than once in the same Toastmaster Year – July 1 – June 30.
