District Executive Committee Meeting Report –October 7, 2004

Lt. Governor of Marketing   Report: Celly Adamo, DTM

Focusing on our goals this year :

Out of the 32 clubs that is 12 and under, 15 are 10 and under. This will be our priority in assigning coaches. Out of the 32 clubs that are 12 and under, we had assigned so far 4 coaches.

         New club coach co-chair, Jean Andresen.

Renewals: As of October 7, 2004, Out of the 206 clubs that should have renewed, 79 did. We are missing 127 clubs.

Club Leads: We received about 25 club leads. Division B chartered one club in Area B- 6 on September 22, Irwindale Speakway, Division Governor, Arvee Robinson.

     We have 3 demo meeting scheduled in the next 4 weeks.

Distinguished Club Plans: Of the 159 Club DCP plans submitted, we have:              94 for President's Distinguished

          40 for Select Distinguished

          17 for Distinguished

          8   have listed 2 - 4 goals and not enough for Distinguished

Membership: 6 clubs achieved their   DCP membership goals, #7 and # 8, and 23 clubs achieved one of their DCP membership goals (#7).

Moving Forward: Immediately: Follow-up on renewals: must be at HQ by October 10.

     We are behind in new clubs extension. I need leads from the Area Governors.

Plan on chartering a new club by December, 2004.
